Spring Mala w/ Sacred Drumming

  • Rogue Valley Yoga 1355 East Main St Ashland United States (map)

“The Mala practice is a ‘together path’. Transformation is never realized in a vacuum.”—Sarah Sol

“Sacred Drumming is an ancient and modern, worldwide cross-cultured art form.”—Krista Holland

In celebration of Rogue Valley Yoga's one year anniversary, Sarah Sol and Krista Holland will co-lead a Spring Mala with Sacred Drumming musical accompaniment, followed by sweet refreshments and community hang time.

The Mala is traditionally 108 sun salutations, often practiced during times of emotional, spiritual and/or environmental transformation. It’s intended to be a challenging, invigorating and rewarding practice. Led by Sarah Sol, this movement ceremony will be made accessible for beginners to advanced students with ample use of props and modifications for each student.  We will finish the physical practice with an extended Restorative Yoga Nidra and guided mediation.

Sacred drumming is powerful meditative tool which synthesizes the our mind, our heartbeat and our vital energy.  Led by Krista Holland, local drummers will fill the Dome with primal beats throughout the duration of the Mala.

Afterward, you are invited to stick around for refreshments and community hang time.
